About Lauren

laura-aboutLauren’s interest in physical therapy began as a high school athlete. She volunteered in several physical therapy settings as a high school and college student and fell in love with the profession. Having a heart for working with people, Lauren was drawn to the close interaction that physical therapy offered. She went to Texas A&M University to study exercise physiology in preparation for physical therapy school. After graduating as a proud member of the fighting Texas Aggie class of 2003, she went to The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio to get her Masters degree in Physical Therapy.

She began her career in inpatient rehabilitation, working with head injury and stroke victims. as well as outpatient orthopedic and manual therapy. After moving to Denver for a few years, she worked as a home health physical therapist specializing in balance training and conditioning. Lauren moved to Cibolo in the summer of 2012 and was blessed with the opportunity to work at BioMotion Physical Therapy as an outpatient orthopedic therapist. Because of her commitment to continuing education and providing evidence based practice, she will graduate in May 2014 with a doctorate degree in physical therapy from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. With a sincere passion for working with people, manual therapy skills, and a commitment to evidence based practice, Lauren looks forward to helping you reach your goals!
